Terms and Conditions

Reservations in general

  • Check-in: starting from 1 PM. If the room is ready an earlier check-in is possible. If you arrive before 1 PM and your room is not ready, you are welcome to wait at the hostel and/or leave your bags in storage until your room is available.
  • We always appreciate it if you let us know your estimated arrival time. Especially if you think your arrival at the hostel will be before 8 AM or after 8 PM, please advice us in advance via email and we will have someone waiting for you.
  • Check-out: no later than 11 AM
  • Reservations can be made online via Paypal (you can use your credit card to pay with PayPal). When you make a reservation online we ask for a deposit of 20% of the total balance. The remainder is due upon arrival (check-in) in cash or you can decide to pay the remainder with PayPal as well.
  • All nights of accommodation must be paid before or upon arrival.

Cancellations 

Regular Season:

  • You can cancel up to 24 hours before arrival, counting from 1 pm of what was supposed to be your arrival day (local Guatemalan time). Please advice us of the cancellation via email (info@hostelantigua.com), or if this is not possible via phone +502 4102-4122.
  • If you cancel in time we will refund the total amount of your deposit minus the PayPal fee if there are any. If you don’t cancel in time refunds are not possible.

High Season  (23rd of December 2015 – 1st of January 2016 and 20th of March 2016 through 26th of March 2016)

  • You can cancel your reservation up to 7 days before arrival, counting from 1 pm of what was supposed to be your arrival day. Please advice us of the cancellation via email (info@hostelantigua.com), or if this is not possible via phone +502 4102-4122 or +502 7832-5162.
  • If you cancel in time we will refund the total amount of your deposit minus the paypal fee. If you don’t cancel in time refunds are not possible.
